A: I’ve always loved performing and telling stories. My parents were actors, so I guess it was kinda in my blood. I just knew, from a young age, that’s what I wanted to do.

A: I worked with Michael Landon, the show’s creator. He was great! We talked a lot about the character. And I read the Laura Ingalls Wilder books – they were super helpful.

A: Perseverance is key! It’s hard work, but if you’re passionate, you can do it. Don’t give up!

Q: How has your experience with breast cancer impacted your life and career?
A: It made me appreciate life more. It also gave me a chance to help others. It’s been tough, but it’s also been really rewarding.

Q: What’s next for you?
A: More acting, more writing, and more advocacy work. I’m keeping busy! And I’m really happy.
