Zero Day: Netflix’s New Show, Wow!
Okay, so Netflix dropped this new show, Zero Day. It’s a wild ride! Seriously. Robert De Niro’s in it. Jesse Plemons too! Angela Bassett even makes an appearance. I’m kinda shook.
The cast is amazing. De Niro’s character, George Mullen, is intense. Really intense. Plemons plays Roger Carlson, a total wildcard. Lizzie Caplan is great as Alexandra Mullen. She’s got this amazing strength. Connie Britton’s character is fascinating. So complex! Dan Stevens is there too, bringing the calm. I loved him in Downton Abbey!
The supporting cast is solid. Bill Camp and Matthew Modine, great additions. The whole thing feels really well put together. The creators, Newman, Oppenheim, and Schmidt, they really nailed it. I mean, the whole thing is just… chef’s kiss.
Reviews are mixed, though. The Hollywood Reporter called it “meh”. But honestly, I think they’re wrong. I loved it. The storyline is gripping, the acting is phenomenal.
I talked to some of the cast. De Niro said the characters were complex. Plemons loved the confrontation scene. Caplan said Alexandra was a challenge. Bassett raved about the crew. Stevens said it’s a gripping drama. I totally agree.
Overall, Zero Day is a must-see. Seriously. Go watch it. You won’t regret it. Unless you hate good acting. Then maybe skip it. But seriously, watch it! It’s awesome. Five stars from me!
